Anatoli Ionov Wiki

Anatoli Ionov was an ice hockey player who played in the Soviet Hockey League. He played for Kristall Elektrostal, Krylya Sovetov Moscow and HC CSKA Moscow. He was a piece of the Soviet Union group which won the gold decoration at the 1968 Winter Olympics.

Anatoli Ionov was born on 23 May 1939 and died on 12 May 2019. He has died at the age of 79. He was drafted into the Russian and Soviet Hockey Hall of Fame in 1965. Following his playing vocation, he was mentor, and later president, of Kristall Elektrostal.
