Bailey Boswell Wiki – Bailey Boswell Biography

Bailey Boswell is a woman from Nebraska who guilty of first-degree murder said Thursday that the evidence against her was overwhelming. She carried out the grisly attack alongside her 53-year-old boyfriend Aubrey Trail, who was already found guilty of first-degree murder in the case last year, according to the Omaha World-Herald.

Age

Bailey Boswell is 26-year-old as of 2020.

Crime

She accused of luring another woman to her basement apartment on Tinder, then killing her and scattering her dismembered body parts throughout the county. She was convicted of first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder and improper disposal of human remains in the death of 24-year-old Sydney Loofe Wednesday after just three-and-a-half hours of jury deliberations.

After less than four hours of deliberation, the jury returned a verdict of guilty for the charge of first-degree murder. She was also found guilty of conspiracy to commit murder and improper disposal of human remains.

The trial, which was originally slated for March, was delayed and moved from Saline County to Dawson County after Boswell’s attorney, Todd Lancaster, requested a venue change, citing extensive media coverage of Loofe’s murder and the trial and conviction of Boswell’s co-defendant and boyfriend Aubrey Trail.

Sentenced

It provided more than enough proof, they said, that she was directly involved in the death and dismemberment of Lincoln store clerk Sydney Loofe.

The jurors rejected the arguments of Boswell’s defense attorneys that she was forced to participate in a grisly murder by her 53-year-old boyfriend, Aubrey Trail, or that the murder wasn’t deliberate and premeditated.

“It wasn’t close for me,” said juror Jerry Fales of Cozad.

The jury of eight men and four women took just over 3½ hours to reach guilty verdicts on three charges: first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder, and improper disposal of human remains.

The verdicts set the stage for a sentencing hearing, not yet scheduled, to determine if Boswell, 26, will become the first woman sentenced to death in Nebraska or will get a life sentence, the only other option.
