According to Couy Griffin Bio, Wiki, and Biography, He is an Otero County Commissioner and Cowboys for Trump leader. He was arrested in Washington on charges related to the attack on the US Capitol earlier this month.

According to charging documents, Griffin was among thousands who stormed the Capitol in an attempt to block Congress from certifying Mr. Biden’s victory over President Donald Trump. He stood on the steps of the building but did not enter it.

Griffin has been arrested for his alleged role in the riots at the U.S. Capitol. The FBI confirmed Griffin was arrested Sunday by police in Washington, D.C. for his alleged role in the Jan. 6 Capitol riots.

According to the arrest affidavit, a videographer who was with Griffin at the Capitol told the FBI in a Jan. 11 interview that he and Griffin climbed up a wall and onto the patio on the building’s west side. It’s something Griffin addressed at a recent Otero County Commission meeting on Jan. 14.

After the Jan. 6 assault on the Capitol, Griffin drew criticism for a Facebook post about a possible future protest at the Capitol.

Griffin is charged with knowingly entering or remaining in any restricted buildings or grounds without lawful authority.

Federal authorities have brought criminal charges against more than 100 people so far in connection with the January 6 riot. Mr. Trump’s supporters stormed the Capitol, ransacked offices, and attacked police.

Investigators are scouring more than 140,000 videos and photos from the siege, in which five people died, including a police officer.

US officials arrested 10 more people on Saturday and Sunday.
