On 22 November 2019 Gehana suddenly fell unconscious while filming a web series and was rushed to the hospital. The 26-year-old suffered cardiac arrest resulting from a severe stroke and very low blood pressure. She was critical and under observation. But now on, she is perfectly fine and healthy as well to set the fire once again

She was introduced as an anchor in Sahara One Television Channel. Later she did a lead role in the serial Behenein on Star Plus and appeared as VJ on True Life show on MTV India. She was anchor for Cricket World Cup 2015 for a news channel along with Yograj Singh and Atul Wassan.

Vasisth came into the limelight when she won the Miss Asia Bikini contest of 2012, where she surpassed thousands of other entries. She polled the maximum number of votes in an online contest and was selected as the bikini model to represent India.

Vandana Tiwari (born 16 June 1993), known by her stage name Gehana Vasisth, is an Indian actress, model, and television presenter. After working for several brands as a model, she was crowned as Miss Asia Bikini. She did more than 70 advertisements. She later entered the film industry through lead role in a film called Filmy Duniya and did roles in Telugu cinema later she performed a handful of lead roles. Also, she has worked in many web series including Gandi Baat season 3 on Alt Balaji.
