Authorities say an Arnold man named Isiah J. Hampton was at a baby shower for his upcoming child when he shot three individuals with a 9 mm handgun at the Kinloch Fire Hall in Lower Burrell on Saturday night amid a disagreement over whether he would transport gifts. According to The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, Isiah J. Hampton was arrested without incident after leaving the Kinloch Volunteer Fire Department in Lower Burrell, about 24 miles northeast of Pittsburgh, and charged with two counts of aggravated assault and one count of recklessly endangering another person.
Isiah J. Hampton is 25-years-old.

According to The-Sun.com, Hampton got into an argument with a woman who asked him to convey the gifts from a baby shower, according to the criminal complaint.
Hampton allegedly “became aggressive” to the woman, who then slapped him across the face. Three males interfered after he shoved the woman aside.
Hampton, who had collapsed, took a gun from his pocket. Hampton fired his revolver while the other men fought for the weapon.

According to police, a 23-year-old male, a 19-year-old woman, and a 16-year-old teen were all injured and sent to hospitals. The victims’ situations were not immediately known, although their injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
According to Lower Burrell Police Chief John Marhefka, “At least from what we understand preliminarily, [the argument] was about gifts at the shower,”
Two counts of aggravated assault and one count of reckless endangering were filed against the suspect. Hampton’s bond was issued at $250,000 at an arraignment hearing held Sunday morning remotely by Unity District Judge Michael Mahady. Hampton was still being imprisoned at Westmoreland County Prison as of Sunday. The date of his next court appearance is September 28.
