Kimberley was the mother of four children. She was on holiday in Bali, Indonesia with her husband Ken Finlayson. Their four children were not on the holiday with them and have been left devastated back home in the UK.

She is the first British person to be named as a victim of coronavirus. Mrs Finlayson was admitted to hospital in a critical condition and already suffered from lung disease and diabetes before she was diagnosed with Covid-19, Indonesia’s government says. Her husband has reportedly tested negative for the virus but is expected to remain in hospital isolation in Bali for several more days.

She was treated there until March 8 and on March 9 was taken to Sanglah Hospital where she passed away after being admitted in a critical condition. All those who had had contact with Mrs Finlayson have since been traced, Indra told local media.

He added: “We have traced all people that have had contact with her. There are a total of 21 people who have had contact since she arrived in Bali.

Death and Cause

Kimberley Finlayson died in Bali earlier this week after contracting coronavirus while on holiday with her husband. She was cremated shortly after her death in Mumbul Crematorium in Nusa Dua, according to Indra and as reported by 7 NEWS. She has died at the age of 52. Tributes to the mum-of-four were paid by her friends and highlighted her 30-year career as a publisher in the dental industry.
