Lesma Jackson was an elderly woman found in a house suffering from many injuries. A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
Police have launched an investigation following the incident in Enfield, north London, in the early hours of the morning on Sunday.

Lesma Jackson Found Dead
Officers were called to an address in Stainton Road at around 2.15 am amid concerns for the welfare of the woman, 84, who was later identified as Ms Jackson.
They found her inside the property, and she was pronounced dead a short time later.
A man, 50, who police believe was known to the victim, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder.
He was taken to a north London police station, where he remains in custody.

A post-mortem examination will be held in due course.
The woman’s next of kin have been informed and supported by specially trained officers.
Officers had attended the address following concerns for the welfare of Ms Jackson.
