Nicole Gee was a California Marine. She was identified as one of the 13 U.S. Marines and service members killed in the attack at the Kabul airport in Afghanistan. She was recently photographed cradling an infant in Kabul and helping refugees enter an aeroplane.

Nicole Gee was 23 years old.
Gee was married in 2016; she wrote the following year on Instagram, “just a mushy wedding post about how we officially decided on forever and always 1 year ago today😊❤️.”
Her husband is also in the armed forces, according to photos she posted on Instagram.
Gee was a maintenance technician with the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit, as Stars & Stripes reported. She had been assigned to assist women and girls at Kabul’s Hamid Karzai International Airport as they fled Taliban repression.
On Instagram, Gee posted a series of photos showing her at work in Afghanistan. She also posted photos from Saudi Arabia, Greece, and Spain. Some images showed her having fun with friends.
Her last post on Instagram was on Aug. 22, a photo showing her watching over a long line of evacuees as they boarded an aeroplane to flee Kabul.
She captured in a photo cooing over a rescued Afghan infant identified last week as one of the 13 US service members slaughtered in Thursday’s terror attack in Kabul.
“I love my job,” she captioned the Aug. 20 snap on Instagram, showing her peering down at the baby in her arms.
“I love my job.”
In one of her last social media posts, Marine Nicole Gee posted the photo below, with the caption “I love my job.”
She died only days later.
