Nikita Pearl Waligwa was a Ugandan Disney Actress, who has been died suffering from a brain tumour. Nikita was of Ugandan nationality. She is well known for her role as Gloria in Queen of Katwe, a Disney film about a chess prodigy from a Ugandan slum. Ugandan media reports she died on Saturday night at TMR International Hospital, in Naalya, Kampala.

Earlier Life and Career
Nikita was the student at Gayaza High School at the time of her death. She was best known for his role in the 2016 Disney movie. The actress played the role of Gloria in a hit film about a wonderful film about chess, which belonged to the Ugandan population. The film was Based on the true story of Fiona Matisse, the film is played by award-winning Kenya – Mexican actress Lupita Neung and British actor David Ouelo.
The expected biographical film will be screened at 1,242 cinemas at the end of the weekend before opening at the Toronto International Film Festival.

in 2016, Nikita was diagnosed with a brain tumor and looks like he will recover from it a year later. In 2019, however, another tumor was found. According to the BBC, Meera Nair, the director of “Queen of Katowee”, helped organize efforts for therapeutic treatment of vulva during filming.

Another user said: “We woke up to the sad news of the passing of Queen of Katwe teen actress, Nikita Pearl Waligwa. It is such a low moment for the country to lose incredible young talent at a tender age. Our sincere condolences to Nikita’s family.”
