Peter Roberts was a 63 years old man who was killed after being hit by a car. The family of a Liverpool man who died after he was hit by a car has paid tribute to him. Tributes paid to victims whose family said would be ‘sadly missed.’

The emergency services were called out to Southport Road, where it meets Breeze Hill in Bootle, at around 8.15 pm on October 12 after a man was hit by a car.
The pedestrian died from his injuries. The driver of a black Mercedes, which was involved in the accident, stopped at the scene. The driver is now assisting the police with their inquiries.
Police have now named the victim as Peter Roberts, aged 63, from West Derby, Liverpool.
In a short statement shared by police, Peter’s brother Bryan said: “His mum, three brothers will sadly miss him, and his children. He has been taken from us too soon. We miss you, Bro”.
Police closed a section of the road near the Mons pub after the accident while paramedics attended the scene.
Sergeant Ryan Lowry from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: “We would like to speak to anyone that may have been in the area at the time of the collision. Similarly, if you have a dashcam fitted to your vehicle and were in the area at around the time, please check saved footage for anything that may assist us in our investigation.”
