Ryan Hartman (age 24 years),  is an American expert ice hockey winger currently taking part in for the Dallas Stars of the National Hockey League.

He was chosen through the Chicago Blackhawks in the first spherical of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft. He made his NHL debut in 2015 for the Blackhawks.

Ryan Hartman was born on 20 September 1994 on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, United States. He was raised in West Dundee, Illinois, the place he grew up as a fan of the Chicago Blackhawks.

He performed adolescence hockey for the Schaumburg Kings and Crystal Lake Leafs, earlier than finally taking part in for the Chicago Mission and Team Illinois.

While playing with the Mission, Hartman played alongside future Blackhawks teammates Nick Schmaltz and Vinnie Hinostroza. He later moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan, to instruct in the USA Hockey National Team Development Program.

Personal life

Hartman at the start dedicated to enjoying college hockey at Miami University, however later de-committed from the faculty to play for the Plymouth Whalers.

His youthful brother Tanner plays hockey for the Chicago Fury U15 team. He has a white German Shepherd named Riley.

Hartman also performed football for the Bloomingdale Bears tour soccer group along with his pal and former teammate Vinnie Hinostroza.


He joined the Plymouth Whalers of the Ontario Hockey League for the 2012–13 OHL season and was invited to take section in the CHL Top Prospects Game.

He was once then chosen to play with the gold-medal-winning American squad at the IIHF World U20 Championship.

He was once rated as a pinnacle prospect, gratifying the expectation to be a first-round resolution at the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.

International play

He competed for the United States in the 2012 IIHF World U18 Championships. He recorded six points, two goals, and 4 assists, in six games.
