The Decatur County deputy is in critical condition and was flown to Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare after being shot underneath his arm, according to deputies.
A Seminole County deputy was also shot in the incident and is not suffering from any life-threatening injuries, Sheriff Griffin said. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has taken over the investigation because it is a deputy-related shooting.
